My name is Vanessa. I am a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Los Angeles (USA). I am a filmmaker, editor and motion designer.

My greatest skill is understanding an abstract idea and bringing it to life. Whether it's in motion pictures, animation or collages, I always find a way.

I thrive on challenging projects.

I am always on the move and love learning new things.

Fun fact: I wrote a book about Hungarian cinema in Portuguese. It was published in Brazil and is available for purchase here.

EDUCATION

I graduated in Visual Arts at University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). I completed my master's degree at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), where I studied Hungarian cinema in Brazil. In 2021, I graduated in Motion Design at British School of Creative Arts and Technology.

WORK

I have been working for over 15 years in different cultural institutions and brands producing videos, animations, and exhibition design in museums. In 2023, I founded a creative studio called ‘Estúdio Centelha’. I currently work with 2D animations, stop-motion, art direction, creative filmmaking and video editing.
