CUT-OUT ANIMATION

Projects where we brought static images to life, allowing them to gain movement and energy!

This technique steps include scanning, separating the elements of the scene (preparing the assets), and finally animating the elements.

Project for the promotional film for the 2026 Carnival Samba Theme of the traditional Rio de Janeiro Samba School: Vila Isabel. I had the opportunity to collaborate with cutout animations based on the expressive paintings of Heitor dos Prazeres, an artist honored in the school's samba theme. The animation was divided into several stages, from image preparation to individual character animation, followed by scenes and special effects. After animating eleven paintings, they were included in the film as part of the narrative.

2D ANIMATION

Traditional 2D animation. Mix of frame-by-frame animation + motion design.

Short film “Upgrade” made in 2022. Character inspired by the video game “Journey.”
